ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

As the senior electrical engineer you will be responsible for the electrical design of new wireless telecommunication sites, power upgrade designs and EV charging station designs.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, commercial, institutional and municipal sectors
• Technical calculations and software use for load calculations, arc flash, fault & coordination studies, power system design
• On site electrical research, construction audits, field reviews
• Writing detailed and concise technical reports, feasibility studies, proposals, including written responses and instructions as required

Requirements

• P.Eng designation is required
• Multiple Provincial APEG stamps an asset
• PE designation in Washington State an asset or willing to take US PE exam
• At least 2-4 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings, pump stations, industrial facilities including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications
• Ability to work independently to deliver comprehensive designs, often with demanding timelines
• Exemplary interpersonal skills with team members and clients
• Good initiative, attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 CAD per year
