ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

As the senior electrical engineer you will be responsible for the electrical design of new wireless telecommunication sites, power upgrade designs and EV charging station designs.

Responsibilities

Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, commercial, institutional and municipal sectors
Technical calculations and software use for load calculations, arc flash, fault & coordination studies, power system design
On site electrical research, construction audits, field reviews
Writing detailed and concise technical reports, feasibility studies, proposals, including written responses and instructions as required

Requirements

P.Eng designation is required
Multiple Provincial APEG stamps an asset
PE designation in Washington State an asset or willing to take US PE exam
At least 2-4 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings, pump stations, industrial facilities including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications
Ability to work independently to deliver comprehensive designs, often with demanding timelines
Exemplary interpersonal skills with team members and clients
Good initiative, attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 CAD per year
