Structural Engineer - fully remote

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with 2-8 years of experience.

Experience with the following required: RISA 3D, Steel design and Concrete design.

The following experience is a plus: General experience with building construction, masonry design, wood design, steel design, bar joist design.

Candidates will be required to interact with the CAD Designers, lead engineers, and other structural engineers daily.

Candidate will direct designers to what structural details are required to be in the construction drawings; review drawings and to ensure that they meet the requirements set forth in the structural.

·       The project may be analysis of existing warehouse type structures, a roof top antenna installation, a water tank installation.

The project could require the analysis of the following:

·       Steel
·       Concrete
·       Wood
·       Masonry
·       Bar Joists
·       Soils

The project could require the engineer to obtain loading from the following:

·       IBC code
·       ASCE
·       Wood council
·       Masonry code
·       ACI 318
